On Monday, September 15, 2025, the weather was perfect for this beloved event that this year raised over $750,000 for educational scholarships for families of fallen and disabled military and first responders. Each year, Bill Schey and a host of patriotic and generous community members pull together for this always-sold-out Barrington Patriot Golf Day. The day is filled with golf at Barrington Hills Country Club and Biltmore Country Club, followed by a Patriot Ceremony at Biltmore that included the United States Marine Corps Color Guard, “National Anthem” performed by Barrington High School’s Premium Blend group, and Taps performed by bugler Rich Tomasek. Guests then gathered for cocktails, dinner, presentations, and a live auction.
