The Cancer Prevention Team at Advocate Health Care is one of the few in the world that has set out to move cancer treatment “upstream.” Their vision is to pave the way for reversing the increasing number of cancer diagnoses and identify those people who are most at risk, and then find the strategic path to prevent cancer. For those with a diagnosis, their goal is to prevent cancer from spreading.
